We understand that life can present unexpected challenges. IAA Credit Union aims to provide additional resources to support our members before they encounter these hardships.

If you’re facing any of the hardships listed below, please get in touch with our Loan Servicing Department promptly to explore available assistance options.

Payment Hardships

  • Job Change/loss
  • Loss of income
  • Medical expenses
  • Death
  • Unexpected expenses
  • Disability, injury or illness

Bankruptcy

Sometimes filing for bankruptcy is the only viable option for a member. If this applies to you, please review the following expectations regarding your IAA Credit Union accounts:

  • Our policy is to deny any further credit-related services to members with an existing account in default or who cause IAA Credit Union to incur a loss. In such cases, all accounts at IAA Credit Union will be closed.
  • If the obligation is formally reaffirmed and repaid (in the case of bankruptcy) or otherwise repaid (in a non-bankruptcy situation) ensuring that the Credit Union incurs no loss or expense, the member will remain eligible for credit-related services as if the default or bankruptcy had not occurred.

Should you have any questions about your Credit Union loans, our Loan Servicing team is here to assist you. You can either fill out the form below or call 800-676-2541 to speak with a team member, available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST.

Additional Helpful Resources

  • Through our partnership with GreenPath Financial Wellness, members can confidentially consult with a financial counselor who will address their concerns and needs, assisting them in creating a personalized budget and action plan aligned with their financial objectives.
  • It's essential to stay informed about your credit score. Leveraging our free tool, My Credit Score enables you to view your score, access full credit reports, receive monitoring alerts and simulate how various scenarios would affect your score - all without impacting it. Additionally, you can check your credit for free once a year using www.annualcreditreport.com

This is not an application for mortgage.  Mortgage prequalification helps to determine if you meet the minimum requirements for a loan and how much home you can afford.  If the qualifications are met for the purchase price and loan terms you have listed you will be presented a pre-approval letter.  If you’re confident in your finances and are ready to apply now, you should complete a full application instead.
